Project Kume is an indie solo action RPG project for players who enjoy:

✨ classic heroic fantasy — destiny, growth, and choices shaping the journey (inspired by Fable, Zelda, and Dragon Quest)

🔥 high-energy, stylized, martial-arts-inspired combat

Project Kume aims to blend the feeling of a classic hero’s journey with the evolution into something closer to a martial artist — inside a powerful, stylized universe.

This build, Beta 0, is not a full game.

It’s the very first playable foundation of the project.

There is no story, exploration, or progression yet.

This version exists to show the early combat prototype, the core vision, and the initial direction of Project Kume.

🎮 WHAT YOU CAN DO IN BETA 0

In this version, you can:

• control a character in third person

• fight in an early combat prototype

• test first-pass movement and attack systems

• experience the first playable form of Project Kume

⚠️ The combat system is still experimental and actively being developed.

✔ allow Project Kume to evolve, beta by beta, until Alpha

When Project Kume reaches the Alpha phase, this beta will be retired and replaced with the Alpha build on itch.io and Steam.
